Custom Headphones · In-Ear Monitors

Studio sound,
handcrafted for your ears.

This is the one product that's hardest to explain — so here it is plainly. Big Ear headphones are custom in-ear monitors: hearing protection first, audiophile sound second, built to the exact shape of your ears so nothing falls out and nothing leaks in. You make two choices — how many drivers, and how soft the shell.

Why they're different

Protection first. Then the music.

Every pair seals to your own ear impression, passively blocking outside noise — no batteries, no active cancellation to fail. Then we put the sound in: balanced-armature drivers, hand-tuned. You get clarity people normally pay thousands for, in something that also protects your hearing at 80 mph or on a loud stage.

Choice one · how many drivers

More drivers, more separation.

Each added driver splits the frequency range further — deeper lows, clearer mids, crisper highs. Start wherever your ears and budget want; every tier is the same custom fit.

1 driver

Single

$399.99

One full-range driver. Clean, natural sound for commutes, calls, and everyday listening.

2 drivers

Dual

$599.95

Two drivers with a crossover. A noticeably wider range — the popular step up.

3 drivers

Triple

$1,449.95

Three drivers, three-way crossover. A true stage and studio monitor.

4 drivers

Quad

$1,599.95

Four balanced-armature drivers for warm, full-range detail.

5 drivers

Big 5

$1,699.95

Five drivers, 5-way synX crossover. Reference-grade clarity.

8 drivers

8-Driver

$2,299.95

Eight drivers with double low-frequency drivers. The audiophile's flagship.

Every driver count is built in your choice of shell — Standard or Super-Soft (below).

Choice two · the shell

Soft or standard.

Same fit, two feels. We recommend Super-Soft for most people — it flexes with the ear for a better seal and all-day comfort.

Recommended

Super-Soft Silicone

Flexes with your ear for a superior seal and all-day comfort, especially for sensitive ears. Our default for single-transducer builds.

Classic

Standard (Vinyl)

The firmer, rigid classic — a precise, durable shell that holds its shape.

Wired and wireless

The convertible series.

Want Bluetooth without giving up wired fidelity? The convertible series swaps between a wired cable and a self-contained Bluetooth neck unit using two metal prongs — ride wireless, then plug in when the battery's done. Convertibles are built in the firm shell only (no Super-Soft).

2 drivers · BT + wired

Dual Convertible

$759.00

The everyday wireless-and-wired workhorse.

3 drivers · BT + wired

Triple Convertible

$1,499.95

Monitor-grade sound with Bluetooth freedom.

5 drivers · BT + wired

Big 5 Convertible

$1,999.95

Five-driver reference sound, wired or wireless.
