With the impression kit and return shipping on the front end, the full timeline from order to doorstep runs longer still. Both shells are custom-molded to an impression of your ear — the difference is the material they’re made from. We recommend, and default to, the soft silicone shell: it flexes with your ear for a deeper, more comfortable seal you can wear all day and all ride. The standard vinyl shell is firmer and more rigid — a durable classic if that’s your preference.
